Can I charter a sailing yacht in Turkey without a skipper?
Often yes, with a valid licence and some experience; otherwise we arrange a skipper. We confirm it per boat when we send the quote.
Can a beginner handle a sailboat?
With a skipper, yes. Without one you need a licence and hands-on experience, sailing is not something you learn from a brochure.
Why is a sailboat cheaper?
A smaller boat, a single berth in the marina and lower fuel use, because you sail under canvas most of the time.
How far does the boat heel?
In an ordinary breeze, ten to twenty degrees. It is safe, but it takes you by surprise the first time.
